In Germany, people received the vaccine five times by mistake.

The error occurred when vaccinating the nursing home staff. Now four of them with flu symptoms have been admitted to the hospital for observation.

In the West Pomerania region of northern Germany, eight nursing home workers received the Pfizer / BioNTech coronavirus vaccine five times. This was announced by the head of the Rügen district administration Stefan Kert on Monday, December 28.

The incident took place in an institution in the city of Stralsund. After the bug was known, seven women and one man were sent home. However, soon four of them with flu symptoms were taken to hospital for observation as a precaution.

According to BioNTech, during the first phase of clinical trials, volunteers received slightly higher doses of the drug (up to 100 μg) and there were no serious complications. The usual dose is 30 mcg.

Remember earlier in Israel, a man died of a heart attack after the COVID vaccine. He was 75 years old. During the vaccination, a drug developed by Pfizer was used. Preliminary tests did not reveal an association with vaccination.

A nurse was also reported to have passed out on live television after being vaccinated against COVID-19. Doctors at CHI Memorial Hospital said the nurse’s fainting was unrelated to the center’s vaccinated health workers.
