The chief state health physician, Viktor Lyashko, said that the return to normal life in Ukraine will begin in spring 2021.
“I have such forecasts, now I have the feeling that since April [2021 года] We will slowly return to our usual rhythm of life, ”he said on the air of Ukraine 24 channel.
According to Lyashko, the quarantine restrictions will not be lifted as the situation around the incidence of COVID-19 improves.
- In Ukraine, for the first time in more than two months, the daily incidence rate of COVID-19 fell below 5,000: 4,385 new cases of infection were recorded, 75 people died and 7,191 patients recovered.
- During the last day, 196 children and 141 medical workers fell ill, 1588 people were hospitalized.
- The largest daily increase in coronavirus cases was recorded in Kiev (851), Zaporizhzhya (472), Nikolaevskaya (347), Dnepropetrovsk (303) and Kievskaya (283) areas.
- During the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 1,030,374 people fell ill, of which 665,729 recovered and 17,849 died.
