On Monday, December 28, in the Russian city of Grozny, the capital of Chechnya, an attack took place against two officers of the Patrol and Postal Service (PPS). Unidentified people opened fire on them and killed them at the intersection near Mira Street.

According to eyewitnesses, there were two attackers, they were armed with knives. The militants attacked the patrol cars, after which they tried to take their weapons.
According to preliminary data, both shooters were killed in Grozny during a shooting. Other media report the death of a shooter.
