Rescuers pulled the homeless out of the rubble
In an abandoned building, the floor between floors collapsed, leaving two homeless people under the rubble. One of them died.
In Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region, a building collapsed on Monday 28 December, as a result of which one person died, another was saved. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service in the region.
“On December 28 at 00:26, the Rescue Service received a message about the destruction of a building on Ferghanskaya Street in the Metallurgical District of the city of Krivoy Rog,” the message says.
At the scene, rescuers discovered that there was a destruction of the overlap between the first floor and the basement of a two-story unexploded abandoned building.
“As a result of the destruction, two homeless people were found under the rubble. Rescuers pulled one of them out of the rubble and handed her over to doctors, who hospitalized her in the trauma department.
The cause of destruction is being established.
It was previously reported that a concrete slab fell on a man in the Dnieper. Emerging rescuers from the State Emergency Service found a man with no signs of life under a fallen concrete slab.
Before that, a wall collapsed at night in a boarding school in Volyn with a hundred patients. Staff evacuated the rooms of the medical facility for fear of further destruction.
