60% of beds for COVID-19 patients are free in Ukraine

The workload in Ukrainian hospitals is gradually decreasing

In Ukraine, the incidence rate of the coronavirus continues to decline, but still exceeds the norm by 8.65 times.

In Ukraine, as of Sunday morning, December 27, 38.4% of hospital beds for coronavirus patients were occupied. A total of 64,526 beds of this type have been introduced, reports the Ministry of Health.

It is indicated that more than half of the places are occupied only in two regions: in the Nikolaev regions (61.5%) and Odessa (52.1%). In Kiev, 45.3% of beds are occupied.

At the same time, the incidence rate of the coronavirus continues to decline in Ukraine, but still exceeds the norm by 8.65 times. Now this figure is 346, while the norm is 40.

The worst situation is observed in the Zaporozhye region (577.9), Kiev (541.9) and the Cherkasy region (539.9). The best is in Kirovograd (114.1) and Vinnitsa (140.3).

We will remember that 6,113 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Ukraine last day. At the same time, more than 6.6 thousand patients were recovered. Fatal cases – 72.

On the eve it was learned that in Ukraine more than 70% of hospital beds for patients with coronavirus have already received oxygen. This was announced by the Chief Medical Officer, Viktor Lyashko.
