For the smuggling of books, two residents of the Kharkov region would receive $ 200 each. In addition, three tractor turbines were found in his possession.

Two Kharkovites secretly tried to bring nearly three hundred Harry Potter books and tractor parts to Russia. They were supposed to get $ 200 for the smuggling. This is reported by the Eastern Regional Directorate of the State Border Service of Ukraine on Facebook.

It is noted that the men were found near the border village of Borisovka, where they entered a Niva car. Border guards were notified in advance of their intention to illegally transport goods to Russia, so the car with books and spare parts was detained for inspection.

In all, there were 275 books in the car, different parts of a series of fantasy novels about Harry Potter by British writer JK Rowling. In addition, three tractor turbines were found.

The military estimated the book load at 80,000 UAH. Administrative protocols were drawn up against Kharkiv residents for trying to cross the border illegally. Now the court awaits them.
