The day before, Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said that Ukraine will block the work of an international company for the desalination of water in the occupied Crimea.

“There was a statement from representatives of the ‘power’ of illegal occupation in Crimea that they were attracting a large international company to introduce water desalination technologies. We immediately started work and we will definitely find this company. And we will prevent this project from being implemented “Kuleba said, adding that there is enough water for the civilian population of the peninsula.

According to the “boss” of occupied Crimea Sergei Aksenov, construction of desalination plants is expected to start in January 2021.

Recall that the lack of water in Crimea for the sixth year in a row haunts the occupiers. Without Ukraine, the peninsula becomes desert land.
