The cost of treatment at the Feofania State Hospital in Kiev, where senior state officials improve their health, costs tens of thousands of hryvnias.
Anton Polyakov, a people’s deputy of the Servant of the People, spoke on Telegram about the prices and conditions of treatment at a renowned medical institution. Ironically, he recalled the free and affordable medicine in Ukraine.
According to the People’s Deputy, upon entering the hospital, he must pay a “deposit” of 100,000 hryvnia. It is just an admission fee, an “admission ticket.” This money will not be used for treatment.
Polyakov clarified that for each day you have to pay 7,800 hryvnia for a room. Conditions there are not the best.
“The wind blows from the cracks in the Soviet window frame, but the attentive staff brings an electric blower at night,” Polyakov wrote.
At the same time, the medical center also has more comfortable rooms: “junior suite”. The cost of staying there is 27,800 hryvnia per day.
“As a result, for 4 days of” free “treatment in” Feofania “, an ordinary patient received two bills totaling more than 160 thousand hryvnia. Yes, 160 thousand for 4 days. This is a” deposit “+ accommodation + treatment “, – said the people’s deputy.
He added that all payments are made to some type of charity account. But doctors receive the same amount as their colleagues in other medical institutions in Ukraine.
