Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko announced the denunciation of a group of terrorists who allegedly «imported tons of weapons through the territory of Ukraine “and prepared terrorist attacks all over Belarus.”
BelTA informs about it.
According to Lukashenka, the matter concerns the so-called group of former political prisoner Mikalai Autukhovich, who was detained in Belarus on December 8.
«The last scoundrels. They carried tons of weapons around Ukraine. And if our boys (I ordered everyone to receive state awards immediately) they were not covered, oh, we would have a new year, ”said the dictator.
According to Lukashenka, the detainees «he prepared terrorist attacks throughout the country and they have already begun to implement it. “
«There are several other factions. They have two or three people of their own, and from there they send them to us. For Ukraine. Through Poland, Lithuania is now very difficult: the borders are tightly closed. And with Ukraine they have already closed it, the mouse will not crawl. Sometimes they penetrate through Russia, we have no border, ”said the self-proclaimed president.
This is not the first time that Alexander Lukashenko has associated the protests and riots in Belarus with Ukraine. Said «Ukraine orders Belarus to hold elections, “Ukraine called «outpost of political provocations ”and accused of trying, together with the EU, to“ strangle ”Belarus with sanctions.
After the rigged presidential elections in Belarus, massive protests continue against the Alexander Lukashenko regime, which has ruled the country since 1994, harshly cracking down on the opposition and independent media.
The security forces controlled by Lukashenka use water cannons, rubber bullets, tear gas and stun grenades against the civilian population. Thousands of Belarusians were detained and hundreds were injured. According to protest leader Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, at least eight people were killed.
Furthermore, the country has de facto banned the use of white, red and white national flags, which have become a symbol of protest: security forces tear them from buildings and take them away from protesters.
