Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba is convinced that relations between Kiev and Washington will improve next year. Ukraine will work to increase support from the United States.

This was discussed on the air of the television channel Ukraine 24.

According to the minister, he is convinced that next year relations between Ukraine and the United States will improve.

“I am convinced that next year, the general trend of the United States, Ukraine will not only continue, but will intensify. We will work on this,” he stressed.

Furthermore, the Foreign Minister explained why the US special representative for Ukraine is needed.

“I would like Ukraine to be among the priorities of the US State Department. If a special representative is needed for this, we will fight for him. If Ukraine is among the priorities without a representative, then that is fine,” he said.

Let us remember that next year the inauguration of the president-elect of the United States, Joe Biden, will take place. Biden was vice president of the United States during the presidency of Barack Obama.

As RBC-Ukraine wrote, President Volodymyr Zelensky hopes that Biden after the inauguration will be able to elect a new special representative for Ukraine.
