The National Bank of Ukraine has updated the exchange rates for December 28, 2020. These data were published on the regulator’s website on Thursday, December 24.
The situation in the currency market is as follows: after the Catholic Christmas and the weekend, the dollar and the euro began to fall and the hryvnia was able to strengthen.
The official exchange rate for December 28, 2020:
-
100 US dollars – 2835 UAH (28.35 per dollar, -10 kopecks)
-
100 euros – 3456 hryvnias (34.56 euros, -5 kopecks)
Recall that the NBU had to sell foreign currency for the first time in two months. The central bank has not sold foreign currency on the interbank market since October, but devised interventions to contain the hryvnia’s decline.
Optimistic forecast. What awaits the hryvnia in 2021
