Elon Musk Starship SN8 ship failed landing
SpaceX has released a full video of Elon Musk’s Starship SN8 failed landing.
SpaceX has released a full video of the failed landing of the Starship SN8 that crashed the spacecraft. The video was posted on the SpaceX YouTube channel.
The first prototype of the Starship SN8 reusable interplanetary spacecraft was supposed to soar 12.5 kilometers during testing. Upon landing, the ship crashed after a successful coup maneuver.
“Starship SN8 completed flight tests on December 9, 2020, successfully ascending and demonstrating an aerodynamic launch and roll-over maneuver on landing, the first of its kind,” he said.
Such successful maneuvers would allow the spacecraft to land on unprepared surfaces, such as the Moon, Mars, and elsewhere.
Recall, on December 9, a prototype of SpaceX’s reusable Starship SN8 interplanetary spacecraft exploded during testing.
Elon Musk was also reported to have inspected the crash site of the StarShip prototype spacecraft.
