The leader of the Progressive Socialist Party of Ukraine, popular deputy of the II and III calls, Natalya Vitrenko, said that her son Yuriy Vitrenko could become a successful prime minister, and also called for union with Russia.
“I am deeply convinced that the knowledge, professionalism and high responsibility for the entrusted work of my son will be useful for our country and he will be a successful Minister of Energy or Prime Minister of the Government,” Vitrenko said on YouTube in the video ” Mother with son – Slap in the face “. liars, scum, corrupt officials. “
He admitted that his views on politics and economics are at odds with his son’s vision, but at a “momentous moment for the country” it is necessary to assess a person’s suitability for the position of minister based on professional qualities.
According to Vitrenko, in the Verkhovna Rada, when considering his son’s candidacy, there was no close objective assessment of Yuri’s professionalism.
The leader of the Progressive Socialist Party stressed that for Ukraine to prosper, it needs to unite with Russia and the former Soviet republics. He also called for the nationalization of the economy and the transition to a costly labor model.
“I really want there to be a new union, a new Eurasian Union. For Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Russia and other republics of the former Soviet Union. For us to get a powerful partnership. Promising, growing,” Vitrenko summarized.
Recall that Yuriy Vitrenko was supposed to become deputy prime minister and energy minister, but on December 17, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine failed in his appointment. Before that, the profiling committee rejected Vitrenko’s candidacy.
OBOZREVATEL interlocutors in the Cabinet of Ministers reported that the former top manager of Naftogaz, on the eve of the vote, received an award on his account at Oschadbank – $ 7,290 million net (without taxes) – this is approximately 170 million UAH.
As it became known from the interlocutors of the Servant of the People faction, the information that the former manager of Naftogaz, who is suing the former employer for the award, could occupy the seat of the Minister of Energy, provoked a violent reaction. Some of the energy companies, and with them people close to them, did not support Vitrenko’s candidacy.
Vitrenko also said that he received government bonds worth $ 4 million to eliminate conflict of interest when he was appointed minister. Therefore, he not only received a large premium, but also earned interest on it.
