The dollar rises in price for the fifth consecutive day
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on December 24, 2020 set the official rate at 28.45 hryvnia per dollar. The exchange rate is 20 kopecks higher compared to the previous banking day.
This is evidenced by the data on the regulator’s website.
The official exchange rate of the hryvnia per dollar on December 24 was set at the following level: 28.4551 hryvnia per dollar (+0.2038 hryvnia). In this case, the dollar exchange rate on December 23 is: 28.2513 hryvnia per dollar.

Therefore, the official rate is increasing for the fifth day in a row after falling to its lowest level since the beginning of September.

Interbank
The dollar exchange rate on the interbank market at 10:00 on December 23, 2020 on sale, compared to the close of the previous session, decreased by 2 kopecks to 28.41 hryvnia per dollar, the rate of buying change at 28.39 hryvnia per dollar. The exchange rate of the euro for sale decreased by 5 kopecks to 34.64 hryvnia per euro.
Forecast
According to the forecast of analysts, by the end of the year the rate may remain around the level of 28.20 hryvnia per dollar.
