Scientists are still studying the new strain of coronavirus. However, the well-known doctor Yevgeny Komarovsky is sure that the new mutation does not affect the effectiveness of the vaccine against COVID-19.

He said this in his video.

“The main question: does the mutation affect the effectiveness of the vaccine? No, it won’t,” Komarovsky said. He added that the virus is constantly mutating. And doctors still do not know the consequences or new complications of the mutated coronavirus.

Yevgeniy Komarovsky also stressed that in Ukraine the situation with the spread of COVID-19 has stabilized, the number of hospitalizations and infected people has decreased.

“Someone up there, I don’t know how high, is very interested in panic,” Komarovsky said.

Remember representatives of the World Health Organization setthat the coronavirus mutates “much more slowly” than seasonal flu, although the new strain is discovered for the first time in the UK it facilitates the spread.
