The toll roads have not yet started to be built, but the rate is already fixed
In the summer, Ukravtodor said there would be no toll roads in Ukraine. And now the Cabinet has approved the tariff on those roads.
The government in a meeting on Wednesday, December 23, fixed the amount of tolls on the highway, built under a concession regime.
The one-time fee will range from 80 kopecks to 4.6 hryvnia, depending on the type of transport.
Thus, motorcycles with a trailer (sidecar) and without it, cars will pay 0.023 euros.
The same amount will be paid for cars with a trailer, minibuses with up to 10 seats (including the driver) and trucks with a maximum allowable weight of up to 3.5 tons.
Trucks with an MPW of 3.5 to 12 tons, road trains with an MPW of up to 12 tons, buses with a seating capacity of 10 to 29 with an MPW of not more than 12 tons: 0.045 euros.
Trucks and road trains with a maximum allowable weight of more than 12 tons, buses with a number of seats of more than 29 and a maximum allowable weight of more than 12 tons – 0.133.
It should be noted that earlier in Ukravtodor they promised to start the construction of the first toll road in 2019. They even calculated that traveling on such a road would cost from seven euro cents per kilometer.
And in the summer, Ukravtodor announced that Ukraine intends to introduce an additional tax for foreign trucks instead of toll roads.
