The majority of Ukrainians (71%) believe that the country is developing in the wrong direction. At the same time, only 18% of respondents believe that business in Ukraine is developing correctly.
This is demonstrated by the results of a study carried out by the sociological group “Rating” in December 2020. As indicated in the results of the survey, citizens consider that the key problems are corruption, the war in Donbass, the economic crisis, the incompetence of the authorities and the coronavirus epidemic.
In general, the majority of those surveyed see the reason for the possible economic crisis in the incompetence of the authorities (63%), although a quarter believe that the economic decline will come from the coronavirus. Another 9% see the war in Donbas as the reason. At the same time, the number of those who explain the situation of the economy The incompetence of the authorities, has grown from 53 to 63% in the last six months ”, says the article.
Furthermore, according to the survey, more than 70% of respondents believe that the economic situation in Ukraine has deteriorated in the last six months, and 17% that it has not changed. Only 7% saw an improvement.
Regarding the economic situation of the family, 56% felt the deterioration, 37% – unchanged, only 7% – improvement.
At the same time, only 16% of the surveyed Ukrainians expressed their belief that the economic situation in Ukraine will improve in the next 6 months. 32% believe that it will not change and 47% expect it to get worse.
In general, as indicated in the survey results, among Ukrainians emotions of disappointment (42%) and hope (32%) prevail.
Note that 65% of the respondents are not satisfied with the activities of President Volodymyr Zelensky, which became an anti-registry during his presidency.
