Snow in Kiev – traffic collapse formed – traffic accident – snow – traffic jam

There has been a traffic collapse on the roads of Kiev. The city is snowing heavily and there have been many traffic accidents (RTA).

The entire right bank of the city is jammed. Traffic is impeded on all central streets, in particular on Khreshchatyk Street, Vasylkivska Street, Pobedy Avenue, Lesya Ukrainka Boulevard. Traffic jams formed on Goloseevsky Prospekt, Stepan Bandera Avenue, Bolshaya Okrug Road, near Lukyanovskaya, Political Institute, University, Khreshchatyk, Teatralnaya, Demeevskaya metro stations.

On the left bank of the city the situation is better, traffic jams formed on Sobornost Avenue and Evgeny Sverstiuk Street.

The press service of the Kiev patrol police said that there were traffic accidents on the streets of Zhitnetorzhskaya, Degtyarevskaya, traffic was also difficult there.

The press service of “Kievpastrans” warned that the movement of trolleybuses No. 40, 40k along Fedorova Street – Grinchenko Street was delayed due to an accident. The movement of trolleybuses No. 3 on Lipkivskoho Street is also delayed.

The patrol cars also reported another accident on Kirillovskaya Street. Traffic from the Sklyarenko street side to Novokonstantinovskaya street is difficult.

In the Kiev City State Administration, the people of Kiev were warned that in the morning and afternoon there would be ice on the city’s roads (danger level I, yellow).

Let us remind you that significant traffic jams were formed in Kiev in the morning due to snowfall. As of now, there are 9 point traffic jams in the city.
