Murder of three gendarmes in France

In France, this morning, December 23, a terrible tragedy occurred. Here, in a small village in the department of Puy-de-Dôme, one of the neighbors shot at three gendarmes who had arrived for a call for domestic violence. Another gendarme was injured.

After that, the murderer fled and 300 gendarmes were launched in search of him. He was finally found dead. The head of the country’s Interior Ministry, Gerald Dermanen, immediately went to the scene.

“The suspect was found dead. I’m going to the place,” the French minister wrote on social media.

Recall that a group of gendarmes arrived at a private home after receiving a call for domestic violence. A woman who called the police was hiding from her angry husband on the roof of a house. The gendarmes tried to save her, but the shooter opened fire on them. Three people died on the spot. The murderer then set the house on fire, fired again at the gendarmes and fled.
