The chief investigator of the international organization Bellingcat, Hristo Grozev, is working on a documentary on the failure of the special operation of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Defense Ministry and the SBU to capture the Wagnerites in Belarus.
He recounted this in an interview with the editor-in-chief of “Gordon” publication, Ales Batsman. According to Grozev, everything was thought out brilliantly (to see the video, scroll the page to the end).
“The Ukrainian military intelligence (GUR of the Defense Ministry), together with the SBU, came up with a plan on how to fool the GRU, the FSB and the Wagnerists. It was all ingenious. And suddenly now your government says this has never happened, that this is an invention of the Russian special services. ” – He noticed.
Grozev believes the authorities were scared and decided not to clash with Russia.
In turn, journalist Yuri Butusov, who wrote about the interruption of this special operation, said that he had already granted an interview to Bellingcat.
“I already gave an interview to journalists for this project in Kiev, a film crew has already worked here. And Grozev himself will also visit Kiev,” he wrote on his Facebook page.
The journalist believes that Bellingcat will give the maximum international response to the failure of the special operation.
“The reason for this resonance is the participation of the secret services of NATO countries, including the United States, in the operation to capture Russian terrorists, some of whom fought in Donbas and in Syria,” he explained.

To the video, the politician once again added copies of documents indicating the operation of the Ukrainian special services, which was denied in the President’s Office.

And soon the Security Service of Ukraine confirmed its participation in the special operation against the “Wagnerites” in court. In particular, it turned out that the SBU had been collecting evidence against them just prior to the arrest of Russian mercenaries in Belarus.

The Verkhovna Rada Security and Defense Committee held a closed-door meeting, in which it heard from an officer of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, commander of a special unit that carried out an operation to capture 28 members of the Russian PMC Wagner.
