In Kiev, on the afternoon of December 22, unknown persons tried to seize a room in a building on Pushkinskaya Street. Law enforcement officers intervened in the situation, one of them was injured.

This was reported by the press service of the Kiev police.

The conflict, according to preliminary data, arose over ownership of the premises. A group of people tried to use force and fireworks to enter the premises and seize it. Law enforcement officers detained six people, they are being investigated.

The policeman, who was injured in detention, was hospitalized for medical assistance.

The police initiated criminal proceedings under Part 4 of art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, that is, vandalism. Now, law enforcement officers are establishing all the circumstances and causes of the incident.

RBC-Ukraine tried to find out exactly who owns the facilities they tried to seize, but the Kiev police were unable to provide that information.

Recall that in early December in Mariupol, a man took hostages in a bank. The intruder threatened to blow up the premises.

Also RBC-Ukraine wrote about hostage-taking in the suburbs of Paris. The man was holding his wife hostage.

Later, the man who took hostages in France was found dead. It was learned of the injury of two law enforcement officers.
