A borsch battle took place in the Cabinet of Ministers.

Five ministers competed on the ability to cook the national dish of Ukraine. The renowned culinary expert acted as judge.

On Tuesday, December 22, an online battle to cook the best borscht was held between five members of the Cabinet of Ministers, but the event could not be broadcast online for technical reasons, reports the press service of the Ministry of Culture.

Thus, the contest took place between the Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources, Roman Abramovsky, the Minister of Culture and Information Policy, Alexander Tkachenko, the Deputy Prime Minister of European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, Olga Stefanishin, the Minister of Foreign Affairs , Dmitry Kuleba, and the Minister of Justice, Denis Malyuska.

Well known culinary expert Yevgeny Klopotenko acts as moderator and judge of the contest.

According to the Minister of Culture, Alexander Tkachenko, this activity is extremely necessary for the promotion of the dish to be included in the UNESCO list of intangible cultural value. The ministers had a good time, Tkachenko summarized.
