In Ukraine, during the last day, 8,325 people were infected with the coronavirus. Most of the cases are in the Odessa, Kiev, Zaporozhye, Kiev and Kharkov regions.
This was announced by the Minister of Health of Ukraine, Maxim Stepanov, on Facebook.
During the last day, 39,941 coronavirus tests were performed in Ukraine (in particular, by PCR – 32,234, by ELISA – 7,707).
In addition, 3,037 people were hospitalized, 116 patients died. Additionally, 6,626 people recovered from COVID-19.
During the past day, the highest number of confirmed cases was registered in the regions of Odessa (814), the city of Kiev (756), Zaporozhye (675), Kiev (592) and Kharkov (520).
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 964,448 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed, 581,162 recovery cases in Ukraine.
Recall that the Ministry of Health is preparing a national plan to vaccinate Ukrainians against the coronavirus. Citizens of Ukraine living in the temporarily occupied territories also plan to get vaccinated.
Additionally, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine was not included in the list of countries that are the first to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
