Starting on Sunday, December 20, the Israeli Ministry of Health will enter the “red zone” (the most dangerous for the spread of the coronavirus) of all countries in the world. This means that everyone who arrives in Israel must comply with the quarantine.
It is reported by newsru.co.il.
So, starting on December 20, everyone who arrives in Israel will have to comply with the quarantine for 14 days. Self-isolation can be reduced to 10 days by passing two coronavirus tests, one immediately at the airport and the second 9 days after arrival. If both tests are negative, the quarantine can be suspended.
Those who arrive in Israel before December 26 from countries that were considered “green” until Sunday will not be able to comply with the two-week quarantine. The country’s airlines expressed their outrage at this decision of the Ministry of Health, as it implies a decrease in passenger traffic.
Let us remind you that Italy has introduced a blockade for the New Year holidays and has established rules for visiting guests.
It was also reported that since December 19, Austria has introduced a mandatory quarantine for all foreigners arriving in the country.
