Grigory Chapkis was admitted to the hospital with bilateral pneumonia. The 90-year-old legendary dancer and Dancing with the Stars judge underwent two coronavirus tests and came back negative.
Chapkis is in the orthopedic department because specialized hospitals are crowded. You feel weak and have trouble breathing. The People’s Artist of Ukraine recounted this in an interview with TSN.
“There are not enough doctors, not enough sisters. Now I have a terrible fear, this comes first. The fear of death,” Chapkis said.
He also noted that he is in the hospital on the fourth floor, and on the fifth floor there are patients with coronavirus infection.

Recall that Chapkis’ son commented on his father’s marriage to the chosen one 52 years younger. Greg, his 41-year-old son, who lives in the United States, said he was pleasantly surprised that his father, at such a respectable age, decided to start a family again.

Earlier, Grigory Chapkis confessed his feelings to “Dancing with the Stars” contestant Nadezhda Meikher. As it turned out, the ex-VIA Gra and the famous choreographer have known each other for about 20 years. Nadezhda was Grigory Nikolaevich’s favorite in the first season of “Dances” in 2006.
