According to Chapkis, three days ago he felt bad. The ambulance, which responded to the call, took the 90-year-old artist to the hospital with a diagnosis of bilateral pneumonia.
Chapkis says he’s in the orthopedic department because specialty hospitals are packed. He shared that he felt weak and had difficulty breathing. Grigory Chapkis received 2 coronavirus tests. They are negative.
“On the fifth floor there are viral infections, I am on the fourth floor. There are not enough doctors, there are not enough sisters. I have a terrible fear now, this is the first. The fear of death,” shared Grigory Chapkis.
