Russian low-cost airline Pobeda has started tourist flights over the cities of the Golden Ring with takeoff and landing in Moscow. The first plane will depart on Saturday, December 19.
RIA Novosti writes about it, referring to the representative of the airline.
According to her, the supply is in great demand. So for the first flight, all tickets were sold out in eight minutes, and for the second – in six. At the same time, other regions of the country became interested in the idea.
“We did not come up with the idea of doing this type of flight. This is a global trend that Pobeda decided to support. There are air travelers who are ready to fly for the simple fact of flying: they enjoy it, like us. For now, by way of of experiment, we will conduct two special flights on the Moscow – Moscow route “, – said the representative of” Victoria “.
It is reported that normal security measures will be applied during flights: all passengers will wear masks. No meals are provided during the flight.
The first flight will be controlled by Alexey Kochemasov, who is also known as the author of the “Skywalkers” podcast and thanks to his personal blogs on LiveJournal and YouTube. The flight itself will last an hour and a half.
As you know, the first “to nowhere” flights gained popularity in Taiwan this summer amid the coronavirus pandemic. The planes circle and return to the airport.
We will recall that Qatar Airways previously resumed flights from Boryspil airport.
We also write that airBaltic has launched Vilnius – Kiev flights. A one-way ticket costs from 640 UAH.
