Any of his vague answers about Crimea will work against him, said the head of Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry.
Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said former presidential candidate Svetlana Tikhanovskaya should decide a position on Crimea. Kuleba told this on the air of the radio “Novoye Vremya”.
According to Kuleba, the first thing the media will ask Tikhanovskaya upon arrival in Ukraine is his attitude towards “Russian aggression.” You will have to answer the question: “Whose Crimea is it?”
“Any unclear answer will play against Tikhanovskaya,” Kuleba said.
The minister added that by presenting this condition to Tikhanovskaya, he was taking care of her.
It is worth noting that Tikhanovskaya has previously spoken out on the Crimea issue. He noted that the issue of ownership of the peninsula is difficult, but Russia annexed it in violation of international laws and therefore de jure it belongs to Urain and de facto to Russia.
Commenting on the events in Ukraine in 2014, Tikhanovskaya said she was “hurt” by the fact that “there was a war” in the country.
