The acting head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP), Maxim Grischuk, signed a suspicion to the deputy head of the Office of President Oleg Tatarov.
This was announced by the journalist Yuri Butusov, citing Censor sources. The document has not yet been delivered to the most suspects.
“NABU detectives were given the right to arrest Tatarov and conduct searches of the President’s Office and his place of residence.
Update: No arrest is expected during the delivery of the suspicion, the sources clarified in the SAP, more procedural actions will be carried out after the delivery of the suspicion.
Update 2: The first suspicion was issued to Tatarov on December 1 by SAP Prosecutor Roman Symkiv, but the delivery was interrupted, because within a few hours Symkiv was denied access to the case in the electronic register by decision of the Attorney General and was removed from the case. I hope that after the resonance, the authorities do not dare to destroy the suspicion for the second time, “wrote the journalist.
The information was also confirmed by a former NABU employee, Yevgeny Shevchenko.
“They put the squeeze! SAP prosecutors signed a suspicion to the deputy head of Ukraine’s President Tatarov’s office, but he has already escaped, we will look for him,” he wrote on his Facebook page.
The NABU suspects that Tatarov is involved in the Ukrbud case for possible abuse and embezzlement during the construction of houses for the National Guard. The official may be involved in falsifying the exam in the case of the head of the construction organization Maksim Mikitas.
Earlier, Butusov said that the suspicion about Tatarov should have been surrendered on November 28, but this step was allegedly blocked by a judge of the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court.
On December 2, Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Office announced deliberate pressure on the investigation and an attempt to discontinue the case against Tatarov by the Attorney General’s Office.
The OP reacted to the scandal, saying that both they and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy support “the principle of non-interference in the affairs of law enforcement, anti-corruption agencies” and “any transparent investigation based on proven facts.”
Tatarov himself claims that he is not to blame, and the NABU chief’s entourage “spreads rumors” about him.

The massive development of Ukrbud was due to constant contributions from new investors and dubious tenders. For a long time, the corporation was headed by the People’s Deputy of Ukraine of the VIII convocation Maxim Mikitas.

On May 14, 2019, NABU employees went to Ukrbud officials with records. The investigative action was carried out as part of the investigation into a real estate corruption scheme, as a result of which the main department of the National Guard, according to the investigation, lost assets worth 81.6 million UAH.

At the end of August 2019, another case was opened against the scandalous developer.
