Today, December 18, Prime Minister Denis Shmygal will speak in the Verkhovna Rada. It will represent the candidacy of Yulia Laputina for the position of Minister of Veterans Affairs.
This is indicated on the parliament’s agenda.
In total, parliament plans today to consider more than 40 issues. Among them, in particular, Bill No. 3711 of President Volodymyr Zelensky on Amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On the Judicial System and Statute of Judges” and some laws of Ukraine on the activities of the Supreme Court and judicial authorities. This draft will be revised again on the first reading.
Also on the agenda of deputies are bills No. 4423, 4423-1, 4423-2 on amendments to the Tax Code and the Law of Ukraine “On Collection and Accounting of a One-Time Contribution for Mandatory State Social Insurance” regarding additional commercial support in relation to strengthening quarantine measures.
We will remember, on December 16, Verkhovna Rada removed the Minister for Veterans Sergei Bessarab.
Yesterday, the parliament appointed Sergei Shkarlet to the post of full minister of education. Before that, he served as an interim minister.
In addition, the Rada yesterday failed in the appointment of Yuri Vitrenko as first deputy prime minister – energy minister.
