Ukraine went to The Hague 15 times in four years for crimes against the people

Over four years, 15 information messages on crimes against the people of Ukraine were sent to the International Criminal Court. The number of crimes related to the armed conflict in Ukraine exceeds 20 thousand.

Ukraine’s Attorney General Iryna Venediktova announced this in her video message.

According to her, about 5 thousand industries are being investigated for crimes related to the armed conflict in Ukraine.

“They (the prosecutor, – ed.), Together with international non-governmental organizations, since 2016, have sent a total of 15 informational messages to the International Criminal Court on the most serious crimes that are being committed against the Ukrainian people,” he says the notice.

Likewise, according to the Attorney General, at the department level, prosecutors reported that 54 people were suspected of having committed especially serious crimes during the armed conflict.

We will recall, the International Criminal Court in The Hague has published a new report on the situation in Ukraine.

Note that the presidential representative in Crimea, Anton Korinevich, believes that the International Criminal Court will not incriminate any case against the Ukrainian side.
