Sony has launched an official Cyberpunk 2077 refund page for the PlayStation 4 (Pro) console. Owners of a PlayStation 5 running the game in backward compatibility mode can also get a refund.
The official statement, attached there, says that the company values its reputation and tries to always satisfy the wishes of the majority of gamers, which is why the company is offering a full refund to all those who purchased Cyberpunk 2077 from the PlayStation Store. Also, the game will be temporarily removed from the online store, until the developers release patches with major changes.
Remember that the long-awaited Cyberpunk 2077 launched on PC and consoles on December 10 and immediately pissed off console gamers with terrible quality. Gamers complained about the game’s low resolution, frame rate drops of up to 10-15 fps, downloaded textures, bugs, crashes, and other issues.
Players immortalized everything in a CyberBug 2077 comic trailer, which was based on the video games from the game’s E3 2018 presentation. Meanwhile, CD Project RED promises that the first major fixes for the console version of the game won’t appear before January-February 2021.
