TCG in Minsk: militants block speeches of displaced people from Donbass and OSCE is inactive

Pro-Russian militants block the speeches of the migrants of the Ukrainian delegation during the meetings of the Trilateral Contact Group. However, the OSCE representatives, who are the moderators of the negotiations, do not react to this behavior of the militants.

This was stated on the Facebook page by the representative of the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG Sergey Garmash, who represents the immigrants from Donbass.

According to Garmash, a scandal arose at yesterday’s TCG meeting because the head of the Ukrainian delegation, Leonid Kravchuk, gave him the floor. Representatives of the “L / DPR” began to block the speech, and then one of them switched to foul language.

OSCE representatives, as Garmash said, instead of appeasing the militants’ representatives, did not allow him to finish his speech. In his opinion, this incident demonstrated the inconsistency of the OSCE as moderator of the negotiations.

“It is as a result of the ‘pro-Russian’ moderation of the OSCE negotiations that dialogue between Donbass residents within the TCG is simply impossible … At least until the composition of the Russian delegation changes,” he added.

We will recall, the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov said that negotiations on an agreement in Donbass should be carried out exclusively with Russia.

In addition, representatives of “L / DPR” are blocking the exchange of prisoners. They presented a demand to the Ukrainian side, which is impossible to comply with.
