Today, December 17, two young women were arrested near Odessa, suspected of murdering a taxi driver. This was reported by the police press service.
Then, law enforcement officers detained a 17-year-old Yuzhny resident and his 18-year-old friend. Two days ago, on December 15, they got into the car of a 55-year-old taxi driver and asked to take them to Lyubopol, Limansky district. When the woman reached her destination, the passengers attacked her and inflicted 11 stab wounds on her. Then the killers took 1,500 hryvnia from the taxi driver’s wallet.
To cover up the crime, the young men decided to drag the body of the murdered woman to the side of the road, drive the car outside Odessa and burn it. They threw their personal belongings into the fire, so they could be calculated. Also, the youths buried knives. After destroying the evidence, they called a taxi and drove to his home in Yuzhny.

Investigators said the criminals decided to kill for lack of funds to repay the loan, which they removed to create a “space to discharge from rabies.”
Now the youths face life in prison.
Recall that the murdered taxi driver turned out to be Inessa Tyutyunnik, 55, who for a long time was the only taxi driver in Yuzhny. Her colleagues say the woman recently left only on night shifts. She was a good driver and a kind and very helpful woman.
