The Servants of the People deputies ignored the direct request of the president to vote for the appointment of Yury Vitrenko to the post of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy. This was reported by Strana sources.

Someone put a “more” in the chat and didn’t vote, someone just didn’t pick up the phone, turn it off. This is a historical story, now they don’t know what to do on Bankova Street, they still don’t have a new candidate and nobody else is going to vote under pressure, ”said the source.

Let us remind you that Vitrenko’s vote yielded only 186 votes in favor, with 226 needed.

Meanwhile, the head of the “People’s Servant” faction, Arakhamia, said that Vitrenko’s candidacy would be re-submitted to the Rada. But already in January.

Let us remember that today the Rada failed in the vote for the appointment of Vitrenko to the Cabinet. Vitrenko himself said he did not need it and hoped that the people’s deputies would find the best candidate for the post of energy minister.
