The profile committee did not support the candidacy of former Naftogaz manager Yuriy Vitrenko for the post of Minister of Energy of Ukraine. The decision will be made in the parliamentary chamber.

This became known after a meeting of the Committee on Energy and Housing and Public Services on December 17. The meeting was broadcast on the Verkhovna Rada website. Despite the fact that Vitrenko’s committee members were not supported by an absolute majority of votes, their appointment will be voted on in the parliamentary chamber.

According to OBOZREVATEL interlocutors in the Cabinet of Ministers, Vitrenko, on the eve of the vote, received an award in his account with Oschadbank, ua833226690000026208003207069, IIT 2801904511 Vitrenko Yu. $ 7,290 million net (without taxes) this is about 170 million UAH.

Despite the losses of “Naftogaz” in the amount of 19 billion UAH, more than 200 million UAH were found in the budget to pay a bonus for Vitrenko. At the same time, in the main financial document, the countries did not include money for the necessary increase in the salaries of doctors.

The second part of his bonus in the amount of more than 94 million UAH (at the time of the appointment of the payment, the equivalent of $ 4 million), the former manager had not been paid for almost a year. However, on the eve of agreeing to his candidacy for the post of Minister of Energy, the issue was resolved. The President’s Office intervened and the money was found immediately.

And this is in conditions in which the Cabinet of Ministers found no money neither to increase the July 2021 minimum wage to 6.5 thousand UAH, nor to increase teachers’ salaries, as previously planned, nor to increase salaries. of the doctors, as requested by the Minister of Health. Maxim Stepanov.

Note that Ukrainian doctors earn on average about 8,000 UAH. That is to say instead of a Vitrenko, it was possible to pay the average salary to 25 thousand doctors.
