A national vaccination plan against the coronavirus will be approved on Friday, which will include residents of uncontrolled territories.
The Ministry of Health is developing a vaccination plan against the coronavirus, which will also include the vaccination of residents of temporarily occupied territories. This was announced on Thursday, December 17, by the head of the department Maxim Stepanov.
He intends to sign this plan on Friday.
“Yesterday I was tasked with making some changes to this national plan. To provide vaccination to our citizens living in the temporarily occupied territories. They are the Ukrainians,” said the minister.
He also noted that Ukraine’s application under the COVAX program was approved and by the middle of next year they should receive 8 million doses of COVID vaccines.
In addition, negotiations are under way to buy vaccines from manufacturing companies. Therefore, according to Stepanov, vaccination can begin before the end of winter.
