The Verkhovna Rada Agrarian Policy Committee has supported the appointment of Roman Leshchenko as Minister of Agricultural Policy. Today’s Verkhovna Rada should consider this appointment in the session hall.
This was announced by the deputy of Verkhovna Rada Alexei Goncharenko on his Telegram channel.
Earlier, Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said that the Ministry of Agrarian Policy will reappear in the Ukrainian government early next year.
According to him, the government needs an effective state policy in the field of the agro-industrial complex and the protection of Ukrainian producers.
We will recall, earlier at a meeting of the parliamentary faction “Servant of the People” discussed the appointment of Leshchenko Minister of Agrarian Policy. Today he directs the Geocadastre.
In the summer, Shmygal said that a separate land policy ministry would not be created until September. At the same time, according to him, the very decision to create was made a long time ago.
RBC-Ukraine wrote in June that the Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture, Igor Petrashko, was not satisfied with the Verkhovna Rada’s agrarian committee. And President Volodymyr Zelensky said that this conflict can be resolved by dividing the ministry.
