Zelensky: education is one of the most important advantages of the country

According to Volodymyr Zelensky, the state must not only respect, but also support teachers who have dedicated their lives to the upbringing and education of new generations.

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree according to which six prominent teachers from the country who have turned 70 will now receive state scholarships for life, says the head of state’s website.

“The state must respect and support the people who have dedicated their lives to raising new generations and forming an educated nation. After all, in the modern world, education is one of the most important advantages of the country,” he said Zelensky.

Therefore, according to decree No. 571/2020, scholarships were awarded to the honorable teachers of Ukraine Vladimir Lifarenko, Boris Moskovchenko, Ivan Pogorelko, Lydia Rostovtseva, Grigory Samoilenko, Lilia Saran.

Let us remember that Zelensky awarded the title of Mother Heroine to hundreds of women. The women stood out “for providing an exemplary education to the children in the family, creating favorable conditions for the children to receive an education, developing their creative abilities and developing high spiritual and moral qualities.”

Before that, it was reported that Zelensky was asking the Rada to allow foreign troops to train in Ukraine.
