China announced the return of the Chang’e-5 space probe to Earth. The probe sent samples of lunar soil to Earth.
This is reported by the Chinese agency Xinhuanet.
The China National Space Administration (CNSA) said the space probe landed around 2:00 am Beijing time in the northern autonomous region of Inner Mongolia.
So, as he writes Xinhuanet, China’s three-phase lunar exploration program, launched in 2004, has been successfully completed.
Recall that the launch of the Chinese space probe Chang’e-5 to the moon took place on November 24. As part of the space mission, it was planned to collect samples from the lunar surface and then deliver them to Earth.
