The State Investigations Office (OSE) handed over to former people’s deputy Tatiana Chernovol a suspicion of an alleged murder on the Maidan.
She announced this on her Facebook page. Chernovol also provided copies of the documents that were delivered to him. (to see the photo, scroll the news to the end).
“Thank you to everyone who supports me today, and everyone I was with at the Maidan in 2013-2014. Here is the charge just filed for participating in the Dignity Revolution,” he wrote.
The activist wrote on her Facebook page on December 14 that she should be handed the charge. He noted that the charges against him were falsified. And he described what is happening as “a retaliation against her and an act of intimidation of other participants in the Revolution of Dignity because of her active state position and the authorities’ fear of the new Maidan.”
The presentation of the indictment to Chernovol means that the investigation is over and they are preparing to take the case against him to court. The former deputy highlighted that, according to the article on premeditated murder, she could face capital punishment.
