During the last day, 1,559 residents of Kiev fell ill with coronavirus. 13 people have died of contagion in the last 24 hours, the mayor of the capital, Vitali Klitschko, announced on his Telegram channel.
“Another 1,559 coronavirus patients were found in the capital during the last day. 13 people died. In total, the coronavirus claimed the lives of 1,610 Kiev residents,” the mayor of Kiev said in a statement.
It is also noted that since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in Kiev, 93,302 people have fallen ill.
During the day in the capital, 837 women between 18 and 91 years old, 618 men between 18 and 89 years old, 46 girls between one month and 17 years old and 58 boys between three and 17 years old fell ill.
In addition, cases of infection were detected in 43 doctors.
75 people were hospitalized, the rest are in self-isolation, their condition is monitored by doctors.
Most of the cases of the disease during the last day were registered in the districts of Darnitsky (358), Dniprovsky (280) and Desnyansky (176).
In addition, as Klitschko pointed out, in the last day, 646 people have overcome the disease. In total, 29 550 people in Kiev were cured of the coronavirus.
