People who contracted the coronavirus after receiving the Russian Sputnik V vaccine were mildly ill. This was stated by Denis Logunov, deputy director of Gamaleya NITsEM for scientific work, reports on Monday, December 14, reports RIA Novosti.

At the same time, according to him, in the group of those who received the placebo, there were severe and moderate.

“We have shown that even those cases that were in the vaccinated group proceeded exclusively as mild, while in the placebo group there were also cases, both severe and moderate,” Logunov said at the briefing.

According to him, the vaccine provides complete protection against serious diseases.

Previously, it was reported about doctors infected with coronavirus, who were vaccinated with the Sputnik V vaccine.

Later, in Moscow, they named the percentage of cases after the COVID vaccine. In total, 273 people were counted in the capital of the Russian Federation.
