After the launch of Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt RED’s shares lost almost a third of their value. Its price has dropped from PLN 461 per piece to PLN 320.5.

The drop in value began on December 5 after the press began publishing the first launch reviews. Most of the ratings were positive – the average score on the Metacritic aggregator was 90 out of 100. However, many posts criticized the game for an impressive number of bugs – the developers promised to fix the issues before launch.

After the release of Cyberpunk 2077, buyers of the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions began to complain of numerous problems. These include locks, FPS reduction, objects appearing in the frame, and much more. The next day, the developers released an update, but it didn’t fix most of the issues.

This is not the first and not the biggest drop in the shares of the Polish studio. The last time, the company crashed on the stock market in late October after the next postponement of the game’s launch. Then the shares fell 25% to 346 zlotys each.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on December 10, 2020. The history of the game world of CD Projekt RED can be read in the material.
