Then, the SBU said that the circumstances of the actions of the deputies are being investigated in criminal proceedings, that is, in Part 2 of Article 110 (violation of territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine), Part One of Article 110, dealing with high treason, as well as in part third article 358 (forgery).
Other information refers to the secrecy of the pre-trial investigation, emphasized the special service.
We recall, on November 21, that the deputies of the rural territorial community of Syurt (Syurt village, Uzhgorod region, Transcarpathian region) sang the Hungarian anthem during the taking of the oath. The SBU promised to carefully check the actions of the deputies for violations. At the same time, the Hungarian Embassy defended the deputies, stating that they first sang the national anthem of Ukraine, and only after they read the national prayer, which later became the Hungarian anthem.
After the incident with the anthem, unknown persons published a video in which a man camouflaged in the background of the symbols of the “Right Sector” threatens the Transcarpathian Hungarians, who are thinking about autonomy, at the entrance to the city of Beregovo. Following his intimidating speech, the man displayed a characteristic Nazi gesture by raising his right hand. In response, law enforcement officers initiated criminal proceedings.
