“The Dynamo did not play very well in their best years”

Former Dynamo player and coach Leonid Buryak shared his expectations about the match of the 13th round of the Ukrainian championship against Kolos.

– Dynamo need to do everything possible to beat Kolos and leave Shakhtar behind to rest easy as leader. This is important to the people of Kiev now.

– Will the victory over Ferencváros raise team morale?

– It was a battle for the result, there were few occasions, few things came out. However, there was a crazy charge, every Dynamo player lived to beat Ferencvaros. “White and blue” should add this match to the asset. The fight with the Hungarians took a lot of energy, we need to recover. It’s been quite a while.

– “Kolos” has nothing to lose in this fight. The Kievans need to put all the bad in the past, tune in to the game, analyze the mistakes to retain first place.

– What key Kolos players could you name, from whom will the danger come?

– Hard to say given the pandemic. The coach knows best who will play. And the Dynamo have personnel problems: not all the players of the first team will be able to participate in the game. We won’t guess.

– Kolos has many Dynamo Kyiv students. Is this an additional motivation for players to show themselves?

– These players always want to show that they said goodbye to them in vain. These players often perform well. All footballers cannot play for the Dynamo. There is a selection, a selection, someone, for some reason, does not fit into the Kiev club. As for the ex-Dynamo, it is good that he is in demand and has found his niche in the Ukrainian league and in the Premier League team.

– Is it possible to summarize the results of the first half of the season?
