Olga Stefanishina announced an agreement with the EU
After the signing of the agreement, some categories of Ukrainian products will have unhindered access to the EU market.
Ukraine and the European Union have previously agreed on an industrial visa-free regime for some types of value-added products. We are talking about electrical equipment, machines and mechanisms. Olga Stefanishina, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, announced this on Friday, December 11, reports RBC-Ukraine.
It’s about signing the ACCA agreement, said Stefanishina, speaking at the first annual international conference. Ukraine: a paradise for investments in times of change.
He noted that low-voltage equipment, electromagnetic equipment, machines and mechanisms will be included in the agreement.
Ukrainian products included in these categories, having received the certificate from the market surveillance authority of Ukraine, will have unhindered access to the EU market.
Stefanishina also recalled that as of January 1, 2021, it will be possible to review the terms of trade with the EU in the direction of liberalization. Ukrainian businessmen consider the most problematic issues to be double certification, a high level of competition in the EU and the inability to access markets.
Let us remind you that in May this year, Ukraine and the EU agreed to accelerate work on the conclusion of a “visa-free industrial visa”.
A year ago, it was reported that Zelensky passed the latest “visa-free industrial travel” law with the EU.
