After yesterday’s decline, the national currency once again strengthened both in the official rates of the National Bank and in the interbank market.

On Monday, December 14, the National Bank of Ukraine strengthened the hryvnia exchange rate by 10 kopecks against the dollar and the euro. This is evidenced by the data on the NBU website on Thursday, December 10.

The National Bank has established the official exchange rates at the following level:

– 100 US dollars – 2,796.66 hryvnia (-0.1084 UAH).

– 100 euros – 3,389.41 hryvnia (-0,1005 UAH).

In the interbank exchange market, the exchange rate of the dollar for sale decreased by 8 kopecks to 27.97 hryvnias per dollar, the exchange rate for purchase to 27.95 hryvnias per dollar. The exchange rate of the euro for sale fell 19 kopecks to 33.89 hryvnia per euro.

Let us remind you that the day before, after a week of continuous growth, the National Bank slightly weakened the hryvnia against the dollar and the euro.

Today, the National Bank also entered the interbank market after a month-long hiatus. It took advantage of the strengthening of the hryvnia and bought 79 million dollars in the interbank market in a week.
