The Verkhovna Rada may appoint several ministers next week. These are the heads of the Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Energy.
Yevhenia Kravchuk, deputy director of the People’s Servant faction, told RBC-Ukraine about this in a comment.
“At the beginning of next week we are going to consider in the faction, including personnel matters. Maybe even several meetings of the faction, because the agenda is rich. First of all, we are talking about the appointment of full ministers for those ministries in which they act functions (the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Energy, – ed.) “, – said the parliamentarian.
The popular deputy recalled that a few weeks ago, the Rada passed a law that significantly reduced the powers of the acting ministers.
“In the bill, which was approved a few weeks ago and has already entered into force, … there was an amendment, which was supported by the hall, on the powers of the acting ministers. In fact, they have very limited powers.” explained the deputy.
Kravchuk stressed that it is necessary to appoint full ministers as soon as possible.
“It is necessary to appoint full ministers as soon as possible to restore the normal work of the Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Energy. I understand that performance will apply for these positions, but you have to wait for the faction meeting to understand if there are several candidates, or one. candidate, “he said.
According to the deputy head of the faction, voting in the session room can take place in the second half of the session week.
“From Monday to Tuesday it will be clear (according to the candidates – ed.). Consequently, you can vote in the hall in the second half of the week,” said the MP.
