COVID-19: Radutsky called the weekend quarantine error

The head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on the Nation’s Health, Mikhail Radutsky, believes that the situation with COVID-19 in Ukraine would be more stable if during the weekend quarantine public transport stopped.

The politician stressed that the weekend quarantine did not solve the problem, but it still had positive consequences.

According to the forecasts of the experts, in December Ukraine will resist in the “corridor” up to 16-17 thousand new cases per day, said the people’s deputy. The number of people hospitalized is not supposed to increase dramatically.

Recall that the blockade in Ukraine will be introduced from January 8 to 24, 2021. The government called it “winter holidays for the safety” of citizens.
